Tom brings a world of experience to the California coast. An active Realtor since 1978, he has weathered many cycles and trends in both residential real estate and buyer psychology. He has succeeded even when interest rates topped 16%.

Having lived in most of the significant coastal communities, from north of the Golden Gate bridge to Santa Cruz, Carmel, Malibu, Laguna Beach and La Jolla, Tom brings an appreciation of coastal environments and has introduced very significant new communities to California buyers.

From the prestigious Rush Creed Estates in Marin County to Fairbanks Ranch in Rancho Santa Fe. After selling over 100 homes in Rancho Bernardo, Tom was selected to introduce the elegant community of Rancho Niguel in Laguna Niguel, where he sold over 400 homes. Tom’s sales achievements were recognized in the industry by his nomination as finalist for Salesperson of the Year in Orange County for three different years.

He brings this experience to both the first-time buyers and those who can indulge their dreams. Toms’ clients will confirm that he is unafraid to reveal his opinion of a property’s location and attributes. He feels that buyers and sellers need to tap more into a Realtors experience, having toured literally thousands of homes and locations in his long career.

Earlier in life, Tom enjoyed 10 years as a touring musician, performing with Ricky Nelson, Linda Rondstadt, Bread and many more. He is multi-instrumental and produced commercials for Southwestern Bell in Denver, where he enjoyed playing every instrument on the sound tracks. In 1968 he set a long distance record in a homemade river kayak, paddling 175 miles from Seattle to Nanaimo, Vancouver Island. More recently, he paddled an ocean kayak from Ventura to Channel Islands and back. He is also one of the few in the world to kayak the very temporary lake in Death Valley.

Tom is an active volunteer and served as founding president of an auxiliary for Multiple Sclerosis for seven years and on the Board of Trustees for MS in San Diego. He has also enjoyed seven years as a volunteer performer and photographer with the CHOC Follies, which has raised millions of dollars for OC’s Children’s’ Hospital.

Tom has cultivated a rich texture of professional service for his clients who have enjoyed the fact that when they call for Tom, he answers the phone – not a team member or an assistant. His long association with Coldwell Banker provides him with exceptional resources and the highest quality of customer service in the industry.

If you seek a higher level of personal service, you know who will answer the call.
